Point Pelee

This camp was a pretty good one except for the vicious storm we had Friday and Saturday night.
Friday the Venturers rode our bike to Point Pelee from Windsor. We were suppose to go all the way, but we ended up getting driven the rest of the way out in North Ridge. It took us a grand total of about 2 and a half to 3 hours to reach North Ridge. We left Windsor at about 5o'clock pm, and arrived at the gates of Point Pelee around 10pm (We stopped for supper in North Ridge and waited until the two boys Josh and Owen were finished checking out all the girls who walked by) When we arrived there we were tired and cold. We were given our cabin number and unpacked. That night we ended up going to bed early around 11:30pm.
Saturday we woke up and had breakfast, but the Cubs went for a hike while the leaders were preparing breakfast. After breakfast the Venturers did the dishes and followed the cubs around. We went on a bike ride to the Boardwalk. By the time we got back it was around lunch time, so we ate. Then at about 12:30-1, we all went down to Camp Cedarwin to get Canoes. All of us were finished canoeing except for one boat. Dave, Little Cindy, and Female Chris. They went all the way to Lake Erie. It was about 15km's there and back. When they were about to dock their boat, Dave tried to get out of the boat reaching for the dock, but he accidentally ended up tipping the canoe, and the three of them went for a little swim.. After we were finished there, everybody was starving, so we went back to Point Pelee and had supper. After supper we stayed at the site and had a camp fire around 9pm. Tonight we didn't end up going to bed until 1am.
Sunday morning the cubs went on another hike while the leaders were cooking breakfast. We ate, then rode our bikes to the Point then packed our things up when we got back to the site.
