Pre-Camp

This camp was so the Venturers could get to no the rules and regulations for the camp in August, the week long camp
Friday we left Windsor around 6:00pm and arrived at the camp around 9:30pm. It only took so long to get there because there was a lot of traffic on the freeway in the USA. When we got there we unpacked and picked our bunks. We were shown around the site right after that and explained the rules. Some of us didn't like the rules to much because they weren't like the ones we're used to. We later found out that there was a trampoline. It was about 15" in diameter. The whole night our Venturer troop was glued to it.
Saturday we were woken up early around 7am. We ate breakfast at 8am and started working at 9:30-11am. We trimmed trees and paths, and fixed the boat dock. We ate lunch around noon and then we had the rest of the day to ourselves. After we were done working the Canadian troop and the American troop started talking and getting to know one another. By Saturday night the two groups were inseparable. We hung out until about 11:30pm on the trampoline, just sitting and talking. At 11:30pm we had a humongous fire about 20"-25" tall.
Sunday morning we woke up about 7am again and we ate breakfast. After breakfast is was back to the trampoline. Later we packed back up and loaded the truck. We had lunch around noon and we were out of the camp ground by 1:30. We arrived back in Windsor around 5pm because we stopped at McDonalds for something to eat.
