Mildred's Ceremony
Mildred as we all know was diagnosed with breast cancer in the winter of 2002. Over the 2 years she has fought courageously. If she was feeling sick or feeling tired, she would still make it to almost every meeting for the Venturer's and for her Cubs. When she wouldn't show up she scared us all, but she fought through it and didn't let it get her. She has asked her doctor if it would hurt her more if she went camping with the beloved 45th. No matter what he said, Mildred still went if she wasn't too bad. She would always run around hugging everybody and making jokes. For that, she is my hero. The 45th company wanted to show Mildred how much we really appreciate her and everything she has done. We love you Mildred.
